The Northeast Council of Governments (NECOG) is an
association of city and county governments formed to provide technical and professional
assistance. The Council is governed by a board which consists of county
commissioners, city officials, and private citizens. Individual cities and
counties cooperatively provide a regional agency to review specific
projects and requests. All requests and tasks are carried out by
staff members.
