in obtaining available funding

extensive network of economic development specialists
- Develop industrial
and economic development proposals
- Work with
development corporations in preparing community for future economic

- Water quality

REVOLVING LOAN FUND
- To fund small
businesses and expansion of existing businesses which will create
new jobs
- One job created
for each $10,000 loaned
- Interest rates
comparable to regional lending institutions
- Criteria includes
owner equity and conventional lending institution

RESEARCH AND EDUCATION
- Sponsor informational
seminars and workshops
- Prepare special
reports and studies as needed
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANCE
- Administer State
and Federal grants
- Develop public
safety policies and procedures, personnel manuals, and job
descriptions
