Tournament date: July 16, 2011

Teams: Teams must be one male, one female. One must be over 18 and the other must have signed parent consent if not over 18.

Cost: $101 per team - last entry date is July 11, 2011 - no exceptions Includes: entry fee, dinner on the evening of the 16th.

Each team that pays an extra $20 is guaranteed a prize valued from $15 to $50. To pay simply make checks out for $121.

Rules Meeting and Calcutta: Social begins at 6 pm, rules meeting at 7 pm, with calcutta and prizes to follow – July 15, 2011 at the Moose Lodge. We will not be having a supper on Friday this year, but the Moose Lodge welcomes you to come early and order from their menu.

Buffet Supper on the 16th – 6:30 pm: Supper to include: roast turkey or beef, mashed potatoes, corn, biscuit and tossed salad

Launch: All boats will launch from Indian Creek Recreation Area at 7:30 am. There will be a boat check prior to launch beginning at 6:30 am.

Fishing Hours: 7:30 am to 3:00 pm

Weigh-In Location: All boats must check in at the dock by 3:00 pm. Fish will be trailered to the weigh station. Location announced at the rules meeting.

Weigh Fish: Each team may weigh 6 fish, with 2 being over 20". The "Golden Rule" will be used as the official ruler. If 3 or more fish over 20" are brought to the scale, that team will be disqualified for breaking SD state law. In the event of a tie, the prize winner will be the team who signed up for the tourney first.

State Rules: All SD GF&P rules apply to fishing and to this tourney.

Tournament boundaries: Lake Oahe...southern boundary - north point of Swan Creek to south point of No Mouth Creek, northern boundary – north point of Galloway Bay to North Point of Mad Bear Bay.

Sportsmanship: This is a "fun" tournament. The "Golden Rule" applies here too. If you have a complaint, the complaint must be filed in writing with the tournament directors immediately after the weigh-in. The directors’ decisions will be final.

Bad Weather: In the event of bad weather, the tourney will take place on July 17, 2011.

Pay-out: Pay-out is based on a full 50 team field – if the tourney doesn’t fill, there will be one paying place for every five teams entered.

1st - $700 3rd - $500 5th - $300 7th - $170 9th - $100

2nd - $600 4th - $400 6th - $220 8th - $130 10th - $80

Calcutta Pay-out: The calcutta will pay back 80% and five places:

1st – 25% 2nd – 20% 3rd – 15% 4th – 10% 5th – 10%.

Prizes: For an extra $20 your team will win a prize ranging from $15 - $50. Each team will be awarded one prize. Prizes will be drawn for after the calcutta.

Silent Auction: There will be a few higher dollar items given out after the supper on the 16th. These will be awarded by silent auction.

Payouts: Payouts for placing and calcutta will be given out after the dinner Saturday evening.

Refusal of Entry: The tournament directors reserve the right to refuse entry to our tourney.
